A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead first gameplay video released
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead was first announced in October 2021 and is being developed by Stormind Games. This studio became known in 2018 with the Clock-Tower-inspired horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers. In the new game, we witness the struggle of Alex, a young university student suffering from asthma, to survive with her boyfriend Martin. The newly released gameplay video of the game reveals the dark and tension-filled atmosphere of the game.
This ten-minute video, published by IGN, shows players escaping through the air ducts of an old building. This scene, which takes place on the 119th day, proves how spooky and atmospheric the game is. Players struggle to survive in this world where silence is the greatest weapon.
The story of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is not limited to scary creatures. While the players cope with Alex’s asthma, she and her boyfriend Martin go in search of a safe place. As they try to find a safe haven among the ruins of civilization, they will have to face not only creatures but also other dangers.
The game aims to offer players a tense experience by combining survival and horror elements. Alex and Martin’s story will take players on a journey that pushes their emotional and physical limits.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is expected to be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms this year. Stay tuned for more information and latest updates about the game.
